The design for the MD Railbed Pedestrian Access Landscape re-purposes a former industrial railbed in the Design District in Dallas, TX. The linear landscape will connect 89,000 sq. ft. of creative office space as part of the Manufacturing District by Quadrant Investment Properties. The path is part of a 0.5 mile loop that tenants can use to refresh their creativity outdoors and maintain well-being. The landscape design preserves existing trees and drainage while celebrating a native and adaptive palette that is low-maintenance and low-water use while also mitigating existing native species. The project is currently under construction and will open in late Spring 2021.
